Why is our HUMINT training important?
The recruitment and management of confidential informants is a high-risk area of law enforcement with inherent dangers. However, if those risks are managed correctly this area of law enforcement can yield great rewards. The successful recruitment and management of CI’s can help keep our communities and colleagues stay safe by providing unique access to usable, timely, lifesaving intelligence.
This course is modular and designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of serving officers but is of equal value to newly appointed officers.
